A Personal Note

This course is about learning to meet yourself with more presence, compassion, and trust in everyday life.

There’s no pressure to change or achieve anything here — just space to notice, reflect, and learn at your own pace.

Let it be a beginning, not a destination.

Part of becoming an adult, I’ve come to learn, is taking responsibility for truly knowing, understanding, and being yourself—not from a place of fitting in to be like everyone else, but from a place of honesty, discernment, and curiosity.

I often think of my younger self and all the things I wish she’d known. I wish she’d known how to turn inward and trust her inner voice. I wish she’d understood that self-acceptance is something we can grow into—and that she didn’t need to prove her worth by pleasing others. I wish she’d realised she had choices, even when life was something she assumed just happened to her.

Like many people, I moved through life with weak boundaries and little awareness of myself, my needs or what was right for me. For a long time, I didn’t realise how disconnected I had become from myself or how much I was living on autopilot.

This course was created after many years of learning, reflection and healing. It’s shaped by lived experience and what I’ve come to recognise through greater self-awareness and understanding.

It’s my hope that what I’ve shared here brings greater awareness to your own experiences, thoughts and feelings, and supports a deeper connection with yourself.

If this course has opened something for you — a new awareness, a question, or a sense that something in your life no longer feels the same — you may want to continue putting your thoughts and feelings into writing.

My Wellbeing offers thoughtful written communication for those wanting to better understand themselves, their experiences and the ways they relate to life and others. Writing can help bring greater awareness, understanding and clarity to thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to process alone.

You don’t need to have everything figured out — only a willingness to begin with what feels true for you.
