Hi, i'm Theresa

I offer thoughtful perspective and practical insight to help you reflect on your experiences and understand them more clearly.

Our emotional and physical wellbeing is shaped by many things — the people around us, the environments we live in, and the beliefs, habits, and choices we make. Just as important is how safe we feel to be ourselves in our relationships, decisions, and everyday life.

When that sense of safety is missing, we can slowly lose touch with our needs, desires, and authentic voice.  Rebuilding that connection often begins by paying closer attention — noticing what we feel, what we need, and how we respond.

For much of my life, the qualities that now shape my work felt like challenges. As a highly sensitive person and deep thinker — someone who feels deeply and reflects carefully — I spent many years feeling ‘wrong’ or inadequate. My sensitivity, intensity, and strong need for meaning were often seen as weaknesses, and for years I carried that weight quietly while trying to make sense of myself.

Gradually, as I rebuilt connection with myself, I began to work with these qualities rather than against them.

Alongside this personal journey, I’ve spent many years learning, observing, and reflecting. My understanding has been shaped through lived experience, ongoing self-reflection, and formal study in areas such as emotional intelligence, positive psychology, transpersonal psychology, and counselling skills.

My curiosity also extends into areas such as psychology, spirituality, astrology, and personality systems such as MBTI and the Enneagram — each offering a different perspective on personality, character, and temperament.

Exploring these perspectives has deepened my understanding of my own temperament and character, as well as the different ways these traits can show up in others. They’ve also helped me recognise more clearly what feels right for me.

I’ve come to understand what it means, for me, to live in a way that supports rather than undermines my wellbeing. The areas that once challenged me most — self-awareness, boundaries, disconnection from myself, and personal integrity — are also where my understanding has deepened most over time.

These experiences have shaped the perspective I bring to this work. Writing creates a private space for reflection and perspective — somewhere questions, lived experiences, and inner tensions can be explored more clearly.

The work I offer grows naturally from this ongoing journey — a way of reflecting on experience, recognising patterns, and reconnecting with what feels true.

If any of this resonates, you’re welcome to explore your own path with curiosity, patience, and compassion. Often, change begins quietly — through noticing, learning, and making small, considered choices that bring you back into closer relationship with yourself.
